hey, i’m alissa!
Currently, I’m a rising senior studying Computer Science & Design at Northeastern University from Boston, MA and am an aspiring Product Designer.
I chose this path for two reasons: (1) I'm drawn to the innovation possible with technology, and (2) I'm endlessly curious about how people think, behave, and struggle with those innovations around them.
While to some this may sound contradictory, I truly believe technology never succeeds without prioritizing empathy of the user. The best products aren't the ones with the most impressive code; they're the ones that make someone feel understood.
That belief is what draws me to product design specifically. It sits right at the intersection of how things work and how people feel and I want to spend my career making sure those two things stay in conversation with each other.
