The Boston Climate Action Network (BCAN) is a non-profit organization that advocates for climate justice by mobilizing Boston residents to push for policy changes aimed at reducing carbon emissions and addressing the climate emergency. They host educational seminars and service events, and work directly with city government to influence policy.

BCAN currently has issues with tracking its grants through Google Sheets. It lacks automation and efficiency & makes it difficult to track multiple grants.
We were tasked with building a grant tracking and management system for BCAN to streamline their grant application and reporting processes.
Key goals include automating tracking, providing reminders, sorting and filtering features, and improving usability for both technical and non-technical users.
